Ending an action-packed event in Cape Verde couldn’t have been more exhilarating than with the FONE tow-in surf foil competition. The conditions at Ponta Preta were absolutely perfect with calm winds and rolling waves. Robby Swift K-89 was in excellent form as he rotated through excellent double forwards, backies and push forwards, whilst impressing on the wave with powerful going turns to earn himself 6th place (after defeating the likes of Strillich, Traversa and local hero Bruch). Leon Jamaer G-208 and Jules Denel FRA-41 both sailed some good heats…
