Stormy conditions with up to 9bft, 2 meter waves and sunshine – the goods for a windsurf competition at the Baltic Sea. For the 6th time the Supremesurf BigDays took place and this time Weißenhaus delivered the perfect conditions with north-westerly winds for this Stand-By competition. At the end it was Leon Jamaer who claimed the victory in front of „Mr. BigDays“ Lars Gobisch and Moritz Mauch who decided to travel to North Germany from his „homespot“ Gran Canaria just before the PWA competition will be on. Henrik Jamaer and Max Droege finshed 4th and 5th respectively. Leon and Moritz compete in the German Windsurfing Association event in „Kühlungsborn“ today before they’ll be a bit in a hurry to make it to Pozo in time for the Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival.
