Day Three of the Cape Hatteras Wave Classic presented by Patagonia started with winds strong enough to run heats through round 2. We had a change in weather mid morning. A rain storm shifted our strong cross onshore breeze, to a light offshore.
Competitors, spectators, and event staff all ran to the water to partake in surf sessions throughout the day. Short boards, long boards, fishes, even inflatable couches were in the line up. Everyone was stoked to get together and enjoy a classic North Carolina beach day.
