Victor Fernandez was on fire during the whole single and double elimination of the Tenerife PWA World Cup 2016 and showed brilliance in the air and on the waves during the whole event. After sitting on 2nd in the single Victor was patiently waiting for his chance to fight back in the double after defeating Philip Köster in the semi final.

The first winners´ final was very close between Victor and Brawzinho but in the end the winner of the PWA Pozo event Victor Fernandez managed to force the Brazilian into a decider.

In the Super Final Victor made no mistakes and unleashed a display of awesome moves like a perfect double earning 9.65 points, a massive one-footed backloop, a clean goiter and very stylish and fluent wave rides.
In the end he impressed with 35.08 points and underlined his incredible form which was honored with the second event win of the season.

Hats off to Victor who is now sitting on a very comfortable 1st place in the PWA overall ranking 2016 after 2 event victories.

The British Tenerife local Adam Lewis showed also good form and landed on a joint 9th. Alessio Stillrich and Klaas Voget on a joint 17th.
