It has been amazing days at the Young Gun Summer Camp in Hvide Sande. We’ve been on the water every day, multiple times a day, doing races, training new freestyle moves and practising windsurfing at all levels.

Summer has truly arrived to the camp site, and the tan lines from watches and wetsuits says it all – we’ve spend a great lot of time on the water having lots fun.

When the Young Guns aren’t windsurfing we’ve been playing games on the beach, done Yoga, been on sunset SUP trip, been running in the early mornings, skateboarding, windskating on the camp site, playing soccer matches and a lot more.

”The kids are inspiring each other both on and off the water and the atmosphere is just great here,” says Xenia Kessler. She is an instructor on the Young Gun Camp for the first time this summer and is really enjoying it: ”it’s been amazing to be part of the Young Gun Camp as an instructor! The Young Guns are really hungry to learn and they are catching up on the moves extremely quickly! Besides the fun on the water I also really like seeing how the Young Guns connect on the beach – whatever age, level and discipline new friendships are appearing through this sport. There is room for everyone and I like that alot!” she says.

Tonight the Young Guns will be relaxing together by the campfire on the beach before going to bed to be ready for tomorrow. The forecast is clear: it will be WINDY! Everyone has tuned their gear and is super excited for what looks to be the windiest day on the water this camp! We will be out there from morning till afternoon, and pushing our limits! Stay tuned!
