The 9th Annual Kiteboarding 4 Cancer kite derby was a success

The 9th Annual Kiteboarding 4 Cancer took place July 10-12, 2015 in Hood River, Oregon. North America’s largest amateur kiteboarding event drew kiters from around the globe to kiteboard 6 hours and over 100 miles for a great cause. This year’s event was a record for Kite Derby participation, spectators and conditions at Columbia River. Funds raised at KB4C, through athlete fundraising, donations, silent auction and Boards of Hope, benefit Athletes 4 Cancer’s Camp Koru Survivorship Program for Young Adults with Cancer. This year $116,100 was raised to put on 5 survivorship programs for cancer survivors.
