After several days of nuclear Pozo winds, the wind took a slight dip on the final day of the 2019 Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival, but it was still plenty enough to complete the Boy’s U17s and U20s Super Session.

In the U20s fleet Baptiste Cloarec (Severne / Severne Sails), Marino Gil (Goya Windsurfing), José Casanova (Fanatic / Duotone), Takara Ishii (RRD / RRD Sails), Takuma Sugi (Tabou / GA Sails), Valentino Pasquale (Fanatic / Duotone), Henri Kolberg (Hot Sails Maui / Maui Ultra Fins) and Miguel Chapuis (JP / NeilPryde) all qualified for the Boy’s U20s Super Session Final and in the end Cloarec would go on to win the final ahead of Gil and Sugi after landing an excellent double forward.

In the U17s Liam Dunkerbeck (Starboard / Severne) came out on top after landing a massive backloop, while Titouan Flechet (Tabou / Hot Sails Maui) finished second with a big double forward effort. Lennart Neubauer (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) completed the podium.

The prize giving ceremony will be held at 8pm (GMT+1) this evening and we will be back on Thursday – coming to you live from Fuerteventura with 5 days of Slalom followed by 5 days of Freestyle! Congratulations to all the winners.
